Since Lucas has been excitedly telling everyone we see (seriously his whole school knew when I was 6 weeks 🤦🏻‍♀️): Baby sister coming February, 2027 🥰 We are beyond GRATEFUL and thrilled.

And to my friends and anyone in the thick of it on their own fertility journeys, please know I hear you, I see you, and I am holding so much space for you. Many of you know the ups and downs of our story, and joy and grief can certainly sit side by side. Sending all love to you 🫶🏻

Nos. 239-219 confirm what I’ve always suspected; if you’re a woman living in the Lifetime movie universe, never leave the house, because you will be attacked. Women (with a few exceptions) also seem to fall into two distinct categories: whores (with a subcategory of aging whores into underage boys) and clueless whores. The men? One giant category: hot, creepy and rapey/murderous. I’m generalizing, of course, but still…

Is this exploitative trash? Absolutely, but it’s well made exploitative trash and the acting (especially Courtney Love) is top notch. Side note: the whole time I thought I was watching KJ Apa (Riverdale) portray Erik Menendez, but it’s Myko Olivier (Glee) and I recognized Nico Tortorella from the Scream television series.

This is exactly what you think it is: Wuthering Heights in a high school setting. It’s also just as boring (and terribly acted) as the original novel.

I’m still trying to figure out how Timothy Granaderos managed to portray one twin *relatively* convincingly and completely bomb playing the other one. 🤷🏼‍♂️ With a little coaching and the right director, I feel like he could be this generation’s Lou Diamond Phillips.
