Let Me Cry - @gyallikeclee

Cleo Sol’s relatability and vulnerability has always been her super power. In the simplest way, she lets us know that she’s been feeling alone all day, she needs the space to figure out her problems, and let the emotions run down her face.

Dressed In Metal - @babyrosemusic

Baby rose walks us through the tug of war in a relationship that starts with one small disagreement and grows into something larger. All of the sudden it’s 3AM and both parties are approaching the disagreement from a place of self preservation and pettiness instead of love and care

What’s It Gonna Take - @amariamcgee

Amaria asks genuine questions to a partner who’s searching for a way out. She’s leaving her heart open for that partner to come back and join her in a place where they once stood together. She’s genuinely asking, “What’s it gonna take?” while simultaneously asking for the grace of being let down easy if her partner isn’t on the same page as she is anymore.

Monster - @thewomacksisters

For The Womack Sisters, the problem is not the ability to love, the problem is how the person that they loved left them feeling. The Womack Sisters come to the realization that they know they CANT be considered monsters because they once were in love, and that memory is confirmation in itself.

He Belongs - @jheneaiko

Jhene realizes that the man she’s dealing with does not belong to her. Her pen is on full display as she describes everywhere that this man belongs to, and none of those places include her. Not only is she flexing her pen, she’s also expressing disappointment while teaching a lesson to others who are dealing with a similar situation, and making it sound so beautiful.

Rain - @thefcknartist

The Arti$t pleads with her partner in an effort to show how much she cares and expr
