Get to know the lineup - Swimming strongly against the tide of post-punk revivalism, paper hats look to further shores for inspiration. The London-based emotional noise-rock quartet bring harsh sounds influenced by the crunching dissonance of ‘90s emo and post-hardcore blended with the liberating vocabulary of noise-rock to create a dynamic and cathartic sound that’ll have you screaming and jumping. The band have built a reputation in the Windmill-scene for explosive live shows, where under red strobes glitched-out guitars, frenzied drums, and precise noise collide. Expect no formulas, no predictability — just an auditory onslaught that keeps you guessing. “paper hats are the answer to the question: where are the next great guitar bands?” Hard of Hearing FFO: Unwound, Gilla Band, Black Midi, Shellac, Slint
