Over the weekend, Martin Griffin Preserve echoed with joy, laughter, and the tears of 50+ women who gathered for the Women, Nature & Joy Summit. Through conversation, celebration, and community-based learning, these visionaries, who work, lead, and create in the outdoor industry, connected with the wilderness, exchanged their personal stories, and formed new relationships to fuel a better future. Hear some of the powerful reflections from participants in the video on the theme: “The Audacity of Joy.” The summit was founded by Teresa Baker @teresabaker11 and the In Solidarity Project @insolidarityproject and was designed to bring together women from across the country who have made the outdoors their playgrounds, workplaces, and careers. Three days in the van with Leo 🦁 and @k8macho just us and the Tetons. We hit @jacksonhole, stayed with “Uncle G” @zeero__g , and made some big memories in a short window. Leo was an absolute champ the whole time—slept great, no meltdowns, just big smiles and deeper naps. The van ran perfectly. The snow was still hanging on. But on day three, Leo caught a bug and we made the call to head home early. Not the trip we expected, but grateful for the time we got. Crushed Nylon Backpack Shirt - 15/07/2024 Classic shirt with trompe l’oeil double chest pocket and an integrated backpack that converts the shirt into a sling bag. Featuring a lightweight crushed nylon fabric that embraces the inevitable wrinkling when packing the shirt into the backpack. Fully french seamed interior. Custom engraved press button closure. Final piece with this neck label style. I made this shirt back in July 2024 but never showed it before, so here you go. This year I want to try and post more of my work again, I currently have 12 more pieces that together form a pretty nice little collection.
