Three months in, and Amber is starting to feel like home. 🧡

Since opening our doors, our goal has been to become part of the neighbourhood: getting to know our neighbours, listening to what you love, and finding our footing. Along the way we’ve adjusted our hours to better suit the community and make sense for the business, and now we’re ready to build from here.

So we’re excited to introduce ½ Price Wine Wednesdays! Beat the humpday blues with half-price bottles, great food and vibes of vinyl. 🍷🎶

And on select Tuesdays, we’ll be hosting a DJ-curated Vinyl Listening Sessions . The first one is next Tuesday, October 20th, with @flipout & @thismoment.fm. Come settle in and listen with us.

Thank you to everyone who has stopped by, said hello and made us feel so welcome. We can’t wait to see you soon.

I could’ve cut out this part of my Slo Rise set on YouTube but these “mistakes” are what makes our sets so perfectly imperfect.

These are human generated DJ sets and human errors will occur. You can’t have taste without blemishes. That’s just the human touch.

At the end of the day, I’m not even sure if anyone at the café even noticed. And it’s a good reminder for me to continue taking risks even if it doesn’t go the way that I wanted it to.

I’ve been working on detaching from outcome, especially with these recorded sets. But I trust in my experience and ability to keep calm and play on. Whatever happens will happen 😌
