@thissmilechels Part 1: During boarding, I met 5yr old Nathan. He was upset he had a middle seat, his older brother got the window lol. He began to get upset and yal know my heart..

So I asked him if he wanted to be my helper with the cookies. I needed to change his experience before we took off to Tampa.
We talked about how he helps his mom and dad clean their car…

Let me know if yal want part 2 in the comments ..

1 travel day, I can’t remember if we were still on the plane or in the airport, this incredibly kind flight attendant stopped @missbiancanatalia and I to let us know how much she loved @activelyblack

We are always humbled and grateful to meet and talk to Tribe members when we are out in public.

We did not know at the time that the flight attendant was the Great Grand daughter of Mother Viola Fletcher, the last remaining survivor of the Tulsa Massacre, who just joined the ancestors recently.

The story of the Greenwood District in Tulsa, Black Wall Street and the atrocity that took place has always held a grip on me.

@thissmilechels thank you for allowing us to pay respect to your Great Grandmother.

Our Elders and our Ancestors who have fought, suffered, died, survived, and opened doors for us to exist, are so important to me personally and to the spirit of @activelyblack

@thissmilechels There is definitely GREATNESS in your DNA 🖤✊🏿🧬

Rest with the Ancestors Mother Fletcher 🕊️🕊️

Hit the one year anniversary of the start of the group chat and the best team (long live premium c-lect) 🤩

My sweet C7 — happy one year anniversary of me waltzing into the classroom posting up crisscross apple sauce and giving my speech “I’ve been hearing some things…” Y’all gave me so much heart burn (and also so many laughs) but I wouldn’t have had it any other way. Ilysm!!!
