“This season has been for the birds” -
This seems to be the theme around here in Arkansas. However for me this season has been less about the birds it’s yielded and more about the people and opportunities it has yielded. True, this season has bared less birds than a couple good weekends did last year, but I’d trade the pile pictures any day for the chance to meet people like I have this year. From hunting one of Arkansas oldest historic hunting clubs to hosting people from all over, each hunt has been unique and full of memories. Proud to have met the folks I’ve gotten to meet this year, excited for memories to be made down the road, and grateful for the opportunities this “awful” season has given me.
Let’s finish strong folks!!

Hunting has been historically slow so far this season. One thing is for sure though, I get to hunt with some amazing folks from all over; each with different experiences, personalities, and stories that keep things refreshing. I can say that as of now I can’t think of one hunt in the last year that I haven’t completely enjoyed. Thanks to all my hunting buddies whose friendships, stories, and help, keep the fire lit when the season is slow. You know who you are.

Spent 10 hours in the blind with new friends on Saturday. Nonstop rain and freezing temperatures.
.
Enjoyed every minute of it.

What a crew, birds may have played hard to get and the weather may have kicked our butts but had a great time with these guys! Look forward to the next trip! @capture_the_delta @thissy18 @themikeormsby @trouttailofficial

I know it's a clichè, but time really does fly by when you're having fun. Cheers to the best four years of my life, and to 40 Aberdeen for somehow staying intact after all the abuse we have it. 🏠🍺
