This Friday, 11th Sept at @moderadio.london, I invite two strong underground bass selectors for a 3-deck b3b for the whole two hours of the show.

I am absolutely gassed to be bringing co-founder of @subtleradio, Dred (@joefromsubtle), and one of the head-chefs behind the @settings.hq project, HLD (@thld___).

I've been behind the plates with both Dred and HLD individually and have been dreaming of getting these two into the same session for months. Wheel the third deck out and we've got a holy trinity between the 3 of us that's going to turn the studio into an industrial bakery.

You can expect high energy and exciting technical mixing from both Dred and HLD, as well as a complete deep dive across the whole global bass and percussive genre range.

Live streamed from 9-11pm - this one's going to be serious heat.

Yes people, we’re back THIS FRIDAY at Dalston Den, for the final Breakaway of July, a very special takeover curated by After Hours!

After Hours Dance (@afterhoursdance) isn’t your average night, it’s a methodology and approach to curating experiences that feels like a breath of fresh air. Since 2023, they’ve been putting on intimate, community-driven events featuring some of the best underground talent in the UK.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen A.N.T (@ant_mulholland) and Abby (@abbydaze.orh) together, their set on Aaja was an absolute scorcher, and following their linkup earlier this summer at Planet Wax (@planet.wax), we couldn’t be more excited to have them headlining at the Den this Friday!

They’ll be joined by Furnz (@furnz_uk) and Highlander (@hghlnder), two incredible producers, with serious skills on the decks - this will actually be Highlander’s second Breakaway as well so great to have him back.

We’ll also have the Settings HQ (@settings.hq) boys, HLD (@thld___) and Starch (@starch_dnb), bringing you another impeccable B2B. These guys have been constantly pushing the envelope for guest mixes on-location, as well as radio.

After Hours have not held back with MCs, we’ve got Mr OTG himself, Nav (@nav.otg), back for another day at the office, as well as Renelle 893 (@renelle.c0m), an incredible talent who’s raw energy is truly captivating, and Tintz (@blackliketintzofficial , one of the most consistent MCs in the game, bags of presence, excited to have him back as well!

Reporting live from @gemfestuk

With the risk of getting painfully sincere online, it’s been a pretty shitty, stressful year so far. But weekends like this remind me exactly why I make the work I make.

There’s nothing like the overwhelming joy of coming together in a field miles from home to experience love, friendship, community and bone rattling bass lines (massive shout out to @toxictek64 for that one) I’ve come back to London full of love and inspiration.

Gemfest, you were something special. From the giddy anticipation of pitching a tent on Thursday morning, to the back to back days of raving and late night shinanigan until we had to flying back down to London @afterhoursdance @thefoxandfirkin with my boy @ant_mulholland this whole weekend has left me properly revitalised and ready to create again.
