By grace and grace alone. Thank You, Lord.

Depth Drop vs. Drop Jump vs. Depth Jump — how I actually use them in training 👇

DEPTH DROP → I use this to teach landing.
Step off → absorb → stick.
I’ll use these earlier in an athlete’s plyometric progression, during return-to-jumping work, or when I want to emphasize landing mechanics and eccentric control.

DROP JUMP → I use this to train reactivity.
Step off → hit the ground → get off FAST.
This is one I’ll use when I want to improve an athlete’s ability to produce force quickly and minimize ground contact time. High RSI, Low GCT.

DEPTH JUMP → I use this for explosive power.
Step off → land → immediately explode up.
I’ll use these with athletes who already have good landing mechanics and reactive ability when the goal is turning the eccentric load into a powerful concentric action.

Do what you will with this information.
