Some highlights from World U20s last week — what an incredible experience! A stadium view inside the Hayward Field never gets old, though it was kinda random😅 At first I actually wasn’t that excited for the races, the main purpose of the trip was to see my friend @thomas.termote from France (ALLEZ PSG🤣). And that was indeed the first thing I did when I arrived in Eugene. Went to the evening session of Day1, and this is where things started to change for me. @bakrr_sr invited me and three Dutch athletes to join them cheering for the Spanish relay team — the whole vibe was ELECTRIC⚡️ By that point I started to feel the special kind of energy around this championship and realized that the event itself was truly unlike anything I had experienced before🔥 Met a lot of people from all across the world and made some new friends! Scenes outside the stadium🫪 Grateful for the sport and for this championship that brought people from every corner of the world together in a small town in Oregon❤️ Had a privilege wearing the bronze medal from the Men’s 800M for a couple of seconds. Thank you @rios_830 , and congratulations! Back in days — 5 or 6 years ago, it was definitely a dream of mine to win my own one in Nairobi. 30 meter (roughly) dash in slides matchup between a retired sprinter and a thrower🤣 I think the thrower won narrowly?🤔 Gear trade on the last night went crazy🫣 Ended up trading jerseys with athletes from 6 different countries — shoutout to all of them! Really enjoyed doing it, wish I had brought more Team China gear to Eugene though😅

Rendez-vous en espoir 🩷 🇺🇸It’s with a heavy heart that my season comes to an end. I wish I could have competed all the way through, but my body had other plans. I’m more frustrated than disappointed, but that’s part of the sport. A solid first day, wearing the blue bib going into the 200m, and sitting in third place after the long jump. I’d rather tell myself it’s better for something like this to happen while I’m still young, but it never makes it any easier. A huge thank you to my family for always being there for me no matter what, and to my coaches, @kurtis.brondyke @geauxiowagirl (and thank you too, Seb 🙂‍↕️). Thank you to @ffathletisme for giving us the opportunity to experience moments like these. It’s always an honor to represent France. A big thank you as well to my club, @cupau64. I’m proud of everything I’ve accomplished, even though the journey hasn’t always been easy. See you in the U23 category. 🩷

👩‍🎓👨‍🎓 #MatchYourTalent #Graduation #StudentAthlete #DoubleProjet #EliteAthletes
