Putting aside any negative feelings I have about Regent, I want to focus on these amazing people and the friends I’ve made in the film program here. This was an amazing chapter of my life and has given me a unique perspective on life and will influence my creative work. In the words of The 88 “At least it was here”
The last four years have felt like a long time but not long enough to get to work with such incredible people. Everyone has so much they will be able to provide to the film industry. I look forward to all we will accomplish in the future and hope our paths will cross again someday and be able to work on more projects together 🖤

“I wish you could know you were in “the good old days” before you’ve actually left them.” -Andy Bernard (@edhelms )

Thanks to the best sitcom ever made (The Office) I know that these are “the good old days” and as we all move onto new and exciting chapters I’m filled with gratitude that I got to spend three amazing years with these amazing people. I can’t wait to see what God has planned next.

That’s a wrap on my final year of film school at Regent University! I’ve learned so much and am forever grateful to all that have had a hand in the past four years. Shoutout to my film friends and professors for making it the best program at Regent ;) #regentgrad23

We finally did it! Been a fun and rewarding four years at Regent, but it’s on to the next chapter. Very honored to be apart of this class and I’m gonna miss seeing these guys every week. Can’t wait to see all of y’all on the big screen. #regentgrad23

Wow, it’s been a while since I’ve posted any pictures of me or about my life instead of a vague lens flare. Let’s fix that.

Well, this semester honestly has been a lot of lonely, but bursts of friendship and creativity that made it worth every moment I sat on my floor feeling alone.

Some friends and I drove out to Richmond, visited the Edgar Allen Poe museum, and enjoyed a sunset in the park. That was a very good day.

Meanwhile in school, we made a commercial using a lot of colorful lights, and it turned out great. Working together to create art is always a joy.

Then, I played in a DND livestream with a very good friend, and playing a Time Wizard is a fantastic time.

My family and I took a few days to escape out in our favorite resort. The mountain leaves were beautiful, the air crisp, and mini golf fun.

Then, us filmmakers came back together to create a stellar short film, called Espionage, directed by the fantastic @sarcastic.ai. A couple weeks later, it won several awards at our student showcase. To be honest, it was my favorite film set I’ve been on to date, and I look forward to working with him again.

Then, a good friend and I went to see a @waterparks concert, and while I knew zero of the songs performed, it was truly a blast. I’d love to go again.

Then this weekend was just a time of celebration. Winter Ball, and then the Student Film showcase. It’s been a while since I’ve worn a suit, and dressing up with friends to celebrate was a great time, and a reminder of why we do it all.

This isn’t to say that it’s been a perfect semester. Far from it. In fact, most of the semester was much less hopeful. Far too much sleep lost, many hours of wondering where I fit in, sitting at my desk paralyzed by the fear of failure.

But these shining moments, they made it all worth it.

I may struggle with what I believe, I may struggle to fit in, I may struggle with the darkness in my head, but as long as these shining moments come through, I’ll have hope, and believe in the future.

Lets live life to the fullest.

Last nights prom was amazing! I really enjoyed the time I had with my group of friends.
Special show out to my date Thomas for going to the dance with me!
I would like to also do a shout-out to my mom for helping me a lot with everything from my 𝒹𝓇ℯ𝓈𝓈 to my hair. (Love you mom.)
