Congratulations to Thomas Bailey ’26 on being named All-Greater Rochester First Team!

The senior outfielder put together an outstanding season for the Knights, hitting .352 with 8 doubles, 5 triples, 3 home runs, 13 RBI, 28 runs scored and a perfect 24-for-24 in stolen bases.

Thomas saved his biggest moment for when it mattered most — a walk-off home run in the bottom of the 9th inning to complete a championship series sweep over previously unbeaten Fairport and secure McQuaid’s second consecutive Class AAA title and fifth Section V championship in the past nine seasons.

Congratulations, Thomas! ⚾️

SECTION V CLASS AAA CHAMPIONS!

McQuaid defeats Fairport 7-6 in 9 innings to capture the Section V Class AAA Championship.

Tournament MVP Thomas Bailey delivered the walk-off home run in the bottom of the 9th inning to send the Knights to the championship.

Brayden Craig was outstanding, battling through 8 innings while striking out 6. Brayden Dewey earned the win with a scoreless 9th inning out of the bullpen.

Offensively, Dom Corona homered in the 1st inning and scored twice, while Danny Luce went 1-3 with 3 RBI, including the game-tying sacrifice fly in the 7th as the Knights erased a 6-4 deficit.

The Knights swiped 10 bases on the day to ignite the offense and complete the comeback.
