🖤🤍 July marks seven years of ‘Avenue’, so we thought we’d start it with some highlights.
We are so incredibly grateful for every casting professional, and for each member of production staff, we get to work with each day.
Mostly, we are immensely thankful for, and proud of, each of our incredible, hardworking, devoted, tireless clients. Without them, we would have nothing to celebrate.
Seven years in and we are as committed as ever to learning, growing, and doing our very best to try and cultivate careers our team can be truly proud of. 🖤🤍

After the success of our first Avenue Rep Session last month, spaces are now open for our next ‘sessions’.

Choose from a 1:1 (sung) Rep Folder session (accompanied by the incredible Inga Davis-Rutter), or an audition technique coaching session with our team.

The sung session will include feedback on your Rep folder, and a chance to sing through 2-4 songs with creative direction and suggestions for further material.

The Audition Technique session will allow time for you to choose whether to look at current monologues in your folder, recall material, or work on self-tape technique. Each session will be different and tailored to the needs of each individual.

If you’re preparing for auditions, drama school, or looking to refine your material — this is for you.

📍 Dance Attic, London
📅 Sunday 17th May
⏱ 30 mins | 10am–6pm
💷 £39 / £60 for both

📩 Email to book: info@avenueagents.co.uk

Strictly limited spaces. Not an opportunity to seek representation.

🖤Introducing Avenue Rep Sessions🤍

On Saturday 28 March, our first industry-facing Rep Session at Dance Attic. This is an opportunity for actors to test and refine their sung audition material in a high-level, supportive environment, in a space regularly used for auditions.

Each individual 30-minute session will include:
• A discussion around your rep folder
• The opportunity to sing 2–4 pieces
• Feedback and, where appropriate, creative direction

Feedback will be provided by:

Alan Mehdizadeh — ‘Billy Elliot the Musical’, ‘Kinky Boots the Musical’. Alongside his performing career, Alan has worked as a producer and director (‘Godspell’, ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’, ‘Little Shop of Horrors’, ‘tick, tick… BOOM!’)

Adam Lacey — Former Artistic Director of the Old Joint Stock Theatre (Birmingham), with extensive directing and producing credits across musical theatre (‘Avenue Q’, ‘The Full Monty’, ‘Ordinary Days’, ‘Little Shop of Horrors’, ‘Thrill Me’, ‘The Last 5 Years’)

Tom Cove — Tom is an established stage performer (‘The Lion King’ Disneyland Paris, ‘The Secret Garden’ Ambassadors Theatre), has been a director for long-running ‘NewsRevue’, and has worked in casting allowing him to offer insight from both sides of the table.

Actors will be accompanied by the brilliant Inga Davis-Rutter, West End audition pianist, Musical Director and Musical Supervisor (Kathy & Stella Solve a Murder), who works across Trinity Laban, Mountview and leading conservatoires. Inga is also widely known for her annual audition song list, which goes viral each year.

This session is open to actors regardless of representation status, however, this is not an opportunity to seek representation.
It is a space to elevate your material.

This is a repertoire-focused session, but part of a wider, long-term vision centred on development, visibility and raising standards.

The cost of attending one of the sessions has been broken down for full transparency. This is not a profit-making venture, nor is it a ‘client search’.

To book a space, please email info@avenueagents.co.uk
Please note; places are extremely limited and will be allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.
