‘Preparing For Lift Off’ is out TODAY! 🚀
I’m so grateful to have been surrounded by so many A+ humans who helped bring this EP to life.
Go grab your headphones, find a fresh patch of grass to lie on, and spend half an hour with these songs.
I hope you enjoy them as much as I loved making them ♥️

Last year, I wrote one of my favourite songs I’ve ever written with @harry_obrien and @thomasporterfeelsgreat . At the time I was jumping in and out of a lot of writing sessions, and I learnt that while many of the songs ticked all the boxes of what should be a ‘good song’, it became increasingly apparent that not every song carries the same weight behind it. We wrote the demo in an afternoon and the following week I recorded a version with @iamkesmar . Something a little softer, souly and lofi. For the next two months, I tossed and turned contemplating which version to release. At the time, there was something in the demo version that felt right.

However, there was always something special in the version that Kes and I recorded. A part of me couldn’t leave this one sitting on the shelf.

Now felt like the right time to release this version into the world. Wrapping our first tour, letting things sink in, and thinking about what’s next. Closing a door on one thing, opening the next. I love finding routine but I love the chaos of the unknown just as much.

I don’t like it that you’re leaving (Kesmar’s Mix). Like Taylor’s Version for the chillers x
