With so so much on offer at this beautiful home, it really is worth a visit. Thoughtfully finished and well-presented with plenty of room to move. 🏡

Outside is where the property truly shines - Established fruit & nut trees, vege gardens, a berry house, and a huge chook house is just the beginning!

Wanui Beach - declared as ‘One of the 7 best beaches in New Zealand’ by stuff.co.nz

“Wainui Beach is where surf culture meets natural beauty. Known for its powerful, consistent waves, it’s a favourite among both seasoned surfers and beginners.

The beach’s long stretch of soft, golden sand makes it ideal for a morning stroll or a spot to watch the sun rise.

Framed by dunes and backed by pōhutukawa trees, Wainui’s laid-back vibe and stunning scenery create a perfect escape for those seeking a blend of action and relaxation.”

This is your last week to visit - for a first or final time - two exhibitions which will be closing on Sunday, at 4pm this week.

- Can you see us now? is a sculptural installation by Jasmine Togo-Brisby (@jasmine.togo_brisby), which sheds light on the history of South Sea Islanders and builds on two reoccurring images: the ship and decorative Wunderlich pressed-tin ceilings.

- Foundations and Additions: Plans for the Heretaunga 100 Block presents a sample of the original architectural features and evolution of the Heretaunga streetscape, bringing together hand-drawn plans for a cluster of Art Deco buildings in central Hastings.

Have you visited Jasmine Togo-Brisby's installation, Can you see us now? at the Gallery yet?

Togo-Brisby is a fourth-generation Australian South Sea Islander of Ni-Vanuatu ancestry, who's art practice is deeply engaged with the global legacies of the South Pacific slave trade.

In a recent interview with Professor Clare Corbould, Togo-Brisby discusses the practice of “playing in the dark archive”, making global connections between histories of slavery and oppression in the wake of the Black Lives Matter movement, to encourage empowerment and liberation.

Join us at the Gallery and visit Can you see us now? before it closes next Sunday, June 23.

Intricate details captured by Thomas Teutenberg of the plaster-cast, replica tamtam drums in Jasmine Togo-Brisby's installation, Can you see us now?

Tamtam drums are a type of wooden slit drum used for communication and ceremonies in the islands of Vanuatu. Togo-Brisby has taken her moulds for the drums pictured from miniature tamtam drums created for the tourist industry.

See the installation now until June 23 at the Gallery.
