Found this flyer I made while digging through old memories.
By Feb 2006, after moving back and forth to Hawaiʻi from California, we were already deep into the DIY underground scene. We’d organized and played countless shows across the islands, and this was one of the lineups that reminds me just how special that time was.
Anonymous Inc. featuring Ceschi, David, Tommy V, with Little Wings at Detox in downtown Honolulu. Looking back at the flyer, it’s wild to see how many artists, DJs, musicians, and creatives all came together under one roof. No algorithms. No streaming numbers. Just people building a community through music, art, and word of mouth.
Seeing my name alongside everyone else’s takes me back to a time when we were loading gear into tiny venues, making flyers by hand, and doing it simply because we loved creating something together.
Nearly twenty years later, it’s more than just a flyer—it’s a snapshot of a moment in time and a reminder of where the journey began. Here is to all the day ones before it all got too messy. Cheers. No filters needed.

P.S.
(Some said this past year 5 or 6 acts were a festival however we were throw hellanacts for $5 DIY scene in hawaii in mid 2000s. I just smile and keep it moving because real teamwork makes the dream work—even when we had nothing as struggling artists.)

🧠💥 Screaming Brain is landing SOON — 5 day countdown commence!

🔸 Ever wanted to make a puppet and throw some paint around at the same time? Us too. Probably. Puppets & Paint w/ Tommy V is happening, and we’re just gonna see what unfolds. Get weird with it.

🔸 Want something a little more relax and sip? Jaymee Robinson is leading a paint workshop for all skill levels — think sunset, brushstrokes, and big wine night energy. 🖌️

🔸 And for the folks who came to go deep — Katie Hewit (1/3 of The Worst Idea, playing the Punk Rock Dog Show) is holding space for a convo on Stigmas & Barriers in Mental Health. It’s real, it’s needed, and we’re here for it. 💬

🙏 Special Shoutout to Our Sponsors:

▪️ The Acid Mantle Productions – quietly powering the music scene in the PNW from the shadows. Keep an eye open on their socials for a resurgence in shows and events coming soon!

▪️ Tease Hair Salon – holding it down in Kalispell and making sure we don’t look like we crawled straight out of the mosh pit (even if we did). 💇‍♀️

This is what Screaming Brain is all about: Making Art, Making Noise, and Making Space for each other and for what matters.

Let’s go.

Not gonna lie, the hype is real for Screaming Brain this summer!
@atomicfrequencies gets to rock out with some other killer bands on Saturday and then I have a solo rap set on Sunday with some more dope ass artists!
Always grateful to @bigfeelingsnpo for bringing us onboard. Their mission is extremely close to my heart and to be able to participate in that those goals through music and community is just the bees knees!
It’s a free event for the people and there’s not only a myriad of music to consume but also events and such all geared toward our pursuit of mental health positivity.
Don’t miss this party weekend next to the river in Troy! I promise it’ll leave you feeling refreshed and amped as hell🤘🏼

Capturing art in motion with this beautiful and super talented human @karmen_kat1 🙌💃. What a dream shoot! We had so many moments of excitement as we looked through the lens and saw what was being created. Also got to shoot at some incredibly gorgeous murals downtown and a tunnel by Lone Pine state park. Took the artist several years to finish. More shots with the murals coming soon! A few of the artists are @thomasvalencia @arrowleafcreative and Stella Nall. @alishasha helped raise the funds. This mural was breathtaking!
