📸 Paul Weller & his incredible Band, Liverpool, On The Waterfront, 2026 ✊🏻 One of my favourite ever gigs, in my hometown, my wife and kids with me, in front of the Liver Building, what a dream. ‘In The Shadow Of The Sun’ is Out Now, wherever you steal (stream) your music from, it’s an incredible Album. One of the best live bands around, so many tunes, this one went off at every show! The transition from ‘Precious’ straight into ‘Move On Up’ is genius, no chance to steady yourself, just straight into a classic. So many moments I’ll remember for a long time, what a privilege to have been there to document it 🧡✊🏻

It was so special to be able to share some of the story behind this album with some of you, before it was released. Two amazing nights with some amazing people. Hosted by the very cool @sarahrosekarmazyn . I hope you’re enjoying the album so far, we’re just getting warmed up with this one , so much more to say about these songs. Sending love, SJ X

Ps. If you were there raise your hand 🙋‍♂️

What a summer that was…

We’re very pleased to announce ‘In The Shadow Of The Sun, Paul Weller & Band Live & Very Direct’ - 31 tracks captured straight from the sound desk across this summer’s incredible run of shows.

Spanning The Jam, The Style Council and Paul’s solo catalogue, it captures Paul and the band doing what they do best.

“All real, all true, more power, more love” - PW

"A compelling career-spanning set… what an outstanding show" - Uncut

"A smasher of a set" - The Arts Desk ★★★★★

"Weller still moves forward, politically engaged, musically restless, uninterested in the comfortable option" - Louder Than War

"Given his mighty run of form in the past 20 years, it’s unlikely Weller is easing into retirement quite yet" - Classic Pop

Available digitally Friday 2 October. Pre-save now 🎧

Only 12 days until the album is yours!! ❤️

It’s been such a joy sharing some of it early with you at the London & Somerset listening parties. If you were there, tell me — what moment or song has stayed with you? 👀

Still so much to share, and so many stories to tell about this record. I can’t wait.

Out Sept 25th. 🫶

What a special little evening. Real privilege to able to play and perform some of this album for the very first time, to some amazing people, before it’s even released 🫶

Buzzing for the next one tomorrow, in Somerset.

Today wasn’t a normal day. I got to play my song ‘Need Someone with the @bristolensemble orchestra with the mighty @francisfauxmusic conducting and orchestra arrangements. Cheers a million to @fortressheartmedia for making this happen and joining me on another beaut of a journey.
I genuinely can’t wait to share the recording and film with you guys.
Here’s a little clip of the orchestra playing, plus another of us going through the new arrangements before the orchestra arrived.
A truly special day. More soon!

📸 The Man @paulwellerhq at Ludlow Castle, with, in my humble opinion, the best live band there is. Every single gig has been unbelievable, the band are unreal and Paul is sounding as incredible as ever. What a run of shows this has been, onwards! 🧡🙌🏻✨
