“WHEN I GROW UP” | Featuring DOMI OHACO

When we are kids, we are often asked what we want to be when we grow up. Most of the time, we don’t really know. All we have is our imagination.

As a kid, I was constantly reminded by my dad that you can do whatever you want, be whoever you want to be. This film is an ode to dreaming big, as big as our imagination allows us.

Through the world of Dominique Ohaco, freestyle skier, X Games athlete and former Olympian, we are invited into a life shaped by that same sense of possibility. A reminder that the dreams we carry as children can guide the paths we follow as adults.

Shot in the Sea to Sky region near Whistler, British Columbia, Canada.

7mesh launches it’s all new Guardian collection. Known for their innovative bike apparel, they now venture into the multi-sport universe.

Taking in this project was such a treat as we got to shoot in 4 different seasons over 8 months. Starting in October 2024 in Bralorne and ending in May in Squamish. Though we had the luxury of time, it wasn’t always the easiest to start and stop production, you often lose momentum when shoot days are so broken up. That being said, I had an all time team from pre to post, thank you to everyone involved.

“Push & Pull” featuring @brittanyphelan - What started as an idea to showcase a multi sport day in Squamish quickly turned into one of my favorite projects to have worked on this year. As I got to know Britt more, she struck me as someone who has some sort of a split personality. On one side you have the Olympic Silver medalist badass who is seemingly always in the gym, according to her Instagram. On the other, I see her racing her bike, doing laps of the pump track and talking about various ski traverses she wants to do.

I saw through all this a push and pull between both these different versions of Britt. But both these versions only exist because of the other.
