Stock & Grain... you have my heart! 😆🫶

What a special ending to the best first day of Miss North Carolina week. So many familiar faces, so many sweet reunions and so much love to be shared. I am endlessly thankful for the friendships and relationships this organization has brought into my life.

Tomorrow I enter my first phase of competition as I have the opportunity to meet our esteemed panel of judges. Prayers are greatly appreciated as I prepare to walk into that interview room at 2:53 PM tomorrow!!!

The day only got better as we headed to the Soldiers Support Center on base, where we met with the Garrison Commander and representatives and volunteers from the USO.

It was an honor to spend time with such respected and knowledgeable leaders. Colonel Mixon oversees the daily operations and base services of Fort Bragg, helping ensure the installation runs at its highest capacity. Meanwhile, the incredible volunteers of the USO support more than 13,000 military members and families each month.

Getting a behind-the-scenes look at the very place my father once worked made this visit especially meaningful. And as a Miss America titleholder, being able to recognize and celebrate our national partnership with the USO was the perfect finishing touch, especially when it meant meeting sweet Gracie Mae!! 😆
