Don’t look down!
Phew 😅 was this a challenging hike! To get to this upper waterfall and mini oasis in Malibu, CA the trail jumps difficulty from a 3 to a 9 —loose dirt riddled with large rocks and 50-65 degree inclines. Parts of the way up the extended trail had climbing ropes to use as handrails to pull yourself up and use to scale down safely on your way back to civilization. We even saw a helicopter 🚁 fly in to airlift a person who broke their leg out of the wilderness and to the local hospital!
All in all, it was a great day to get out and create some new memories with good company. The weather was perfect, the water was cool and refreshing, and the lobster rolls we picked up afterwards at @broadstreetoysterco were amazing! Highly recommend them!
