Corny and obnoxious post. But this past week got me all melty. Last Tuesday was my birthday. Yo life, come AT ME! I’m so thankful to be ALIVE!!!! ✨ and I’m so thankful for a mystical dad who lives everywhere now. A witty, fiery, laughing spirit that’s never far behind my left shoulder. A dad who named me Riley and gave me music and confidence and curious eyes. I’m so thankful for a powerful, loving mom and a sister who’s smart as hell and makes me laugh every moment I’m with her. And I’m so thankful for my FRIENDS!!! This past year has been an amazing year of friends. MY PEOPLE❤️❤️❤️ I’ve got your back 5ever. And I’m so thankful for LIFE!! I’m thankful for a beating heart that carries music and love and pain!! and legs that can run and take me places!! and a brain that has its own ideas and thoughts! and a heart that grows and changes everyday! And hands that can make things! and eyes that can cry!! and a mouth that can talk and kiss and sing! BEING ALIVE IS SO AMAZING!!! And life is so so fragile and unpredictable!! I’m so happy to be ALIVE AND YOU’RE ALIVE TOO!!!!

Wow what a trip. Thankful for @michael_militi and @thornainyourside for joining me on the expedition to New Orleans. What a road trip, learned so much, saw so much, heard so much, ate so much. Truly beautiful.
