Happy Birthday to my best friend, a guy who sees value over vanity, curiosity over comfort, who somehow has a new anecdote, idea, tech rabbit holes and the occasional bio-hack or half finished thought every single day.
Who has spent 9 years thawing my cynical heart and endless teachings of equal parts growth, curiosity, and 90’s movie references. I’m really grateful I get to do life next to him. Thorne 💞💌🫰🏽

Happy holidays from our growing family ✨🌈🤍

The annual family photo is a new tradition instigated by @skyeejade and me last year. Last year we sent out physical cards too but everything happened a bit too last minute for that this year (look for us in your mailbox next year though!) 📮

As kids who grew up for the most part without Christmas or family holiday celebrations, or a functional family at all (let me tell you, what you see here is NOT what it once was. This is the sight of MEM in action 🥲), Skye and I decided we’re going to create a different family culture now. A family that has so many cousins and aunts and uncles and grandparents and family traditions and family holidays and annual photos (Skye is further ahead than me with this, as you can see).

I was always jealous when I went into peoples homes and they had big photo walls, I just couldn’t imagine ever having that. I would stand there for ages looking at every single photo. Now I’m so excited to create my own. And I think everyone else should too, because peoples photo walls are so much fun to look at. I always LOVE seeing where people have come from. It tells so much.

Sending you all the best end of year energy 💫✨

Love,
The Davis / Tunis / Johannsen family 💌
