Here’s a demo of a song I wrote a while back with a little visualiser created with the help of @thorrixon @phoenixchasem and edit by @needygecko . The full song can be found on SoundCloud (link in my bio). This is an unmixed and unmastered track and I say “demo” because I don’t believe the production is finished either but I wanted to share it regardless as I’ve taken it as far as I feel I can right now.

This song is intended to capture and reflect on the moments of breaking away from the kind of love where you’re not being let go of but you’re not being set free either. The kind of love that keeps you close enough to dream but far enough that you never feel chosen. The kind of unrequited love that that fools you into thinking it’s real and only continues to break your heart over and over again.

Berlin. What a wild ride. What a beautiful, expansive, healing, playful and perfect closing to a 7.5 year chapter of my life. I am so grateful. And I leave so full of love.

We wanted to share a little bit of the story behind this night, because it’s a pretty special one for us.

In 2018, our journey started as @shelly_booo_ and @cecilia.tosh had their first party at Golden Gate with the then @sev.berlin collective. From SEV came the label, the events, the CURA club and eventually the agency/community CURA is today.

It’s more than just another club night- there’s a lot of history, growth, and heart behind it.

We can’t wait to be back and bring things full circle this Thursday. Hope to see you there❤️
