It’s such a passionate and powerful line with some really high belting that I normally avoid by singing in a smoother mixed voice. But I feel like it adds a lot of emotion to the finale of the song that is needed to bring the desperation across that I feel when I think about that switch in my head.
It’s crazy how @lukabjoerk can still sing on top of my already pretty high singing but she is simply amazingly talented and I am always super grateful to have her with me on stage ❤️

The song is out now everywhere ❤️

One week of ‘introspect_’ ❤️ thank you for everyone that reached out to me these past days, for your warm words, for coming to my shows or simply for listening to these songs that I put so much love into - it really means a lot 🫂
It feels like such a weird time right now and it makes me happy to shine a tiny little light into the world with these six songs that come from deep within my heart and soul and I really hope they can be a companion to you in these cold days 🫂❤️

Big big love

Andreas

In welchen Situationen hast du dich erkannt? Würd mich echt mal interessieren!

This song has been growing with us. 🌱 @lukabjoerk and I performed Fast Lane together for the first time while opening for Tom Rosenthal in 2022 — now we recorded a live version that feels honest, complete, and true.

Singing harmonies with her feels completely effortless, yet it always elevates the melody and emotional depth of the song to another level. Her playing never takes away from the intimacy and tenderness of the music; instead, it gently adds layers, intensity, and space exactly where it’s needed most.

If this performance resonates with you, come experience it live at the » introspect_ EP Release Shows «
📍 Jan 23 (B) & Jan 24 (HH).
