An amazing experience and a meaningful step forward in my artistic journey. ✨

I’m grateful to have been part of this year’s Undiscovered Benin Exhibition. It was a beautiful opportunity to connect, learn, share, and experience art in a different light.

Being part of this edition is a reminder that every step counts, and every opportunity adds something to the journey.

Here’s to growth, new experiences, and many more steps forward. 🖤#

I love the Adventures that came with 2026. Fortunately it's not over yet 😌. These memories shape me and give me the passage to share a piece of myself via my artworks. Once again, thank you for having me Benin, thank you @thoughtpyramidbenin_ for the opportunity to share my works.

What part of the world will Izani be visiting next? 😁

From a mini project that started in 2025 as a collaboration to a new audience in 2026.

This is my work on Women With Albinism. A group that remains significantly underrepresented in mainstream visual culture. Through collaborative storytelling, the project explores identity, beauty, and belonging while creating space for authentic self-representation.

It was such an interesting moment to share my work with a new audience and in a room filled with talented Artists, Curators, and the general populace at @thoughtpyramidbenin_ for Undiscovered Benin. It was also exciting catching up with @vivian.elabor as I was able to further delve into my work, and further explain the origin of my work, the idea, and my continuous work in Britain.

It was a moment where I had to speak about my ongoing work on inclusion and representation of Underrepresented Women in the communities

Thank you so much, Benin City, for having me, and thank you to the entire audience that showed up and asked questions about my work.

A little video recap from Undiscovered Benin 3.0 Exhibition Opening, organised by @thoughtpyramidbenin_

The Exhibition still runs till Friday 16th October, 2026

I had the opportunity to exhibit four images from my project, Where We Are From, and it was such an amazing experience seeing the work in an exhibition space and sharing it with an audience.

Beyond exhibiting the work, I got to meet and connect with new people, network with other creatives, share my thoughts, and have conversations around the stories behind the images.

Here’s a little recap of how it all went down.

I hope you enjoy it and love the work.
