Crown Cigars- The Knight So here we go…. - packaging was very good, better than most - Initial sniff test reveled sweet hay as described- a little different but ok! - they had a nice springy response to a light pinch test - burn was very even and draw was consistent - I didn’t get too much of the floral/sweet notes but definitely got the crème brûlée notes I paired this particular cigar with Four Roses Bourbon which I feel as a sweeter note on the palate that paired well. Definitely purchase this cigar again, I felt it had a more complex flavor profile than some of the big brand names! People give Crown a go- you won’t be disappointed!! Need to get Crown into the 19610 area!!!

I made a pork butt for my mother in law's birthday/retirement party and it came out perfect. I rubbed it with @meatchurchbbqsupply Honey Hog BBQ and put it on my @pitbossgrills 1150 Pro Series at midnight at 200 and let it smoke overnight until 8am and turned it up to 225. Was inspired by @southside_boyz_bbq when I saw their bacon wrapped jalapeños and had to make my own!!! These bad boys are stuffed with 85/15 Angus Ground Beef that was mixed with taco seasoning and @loubiergourmet All Purpose Seasoning and Pepper Jack Cheese. Then wrapped in bacon and sprinkled some Carne Asada seasoning on them and let them sit in the @pitbossgrills for an hour and half at 275. Did someone say #wingwednesday??? These bad boys hit the @pitbossgrills for a total of an hour and 15 minutes. First half hour at 250 then 45 minutes at 400 until the internal temperature hit 175. First time doing Beef Short Ribs (pre-cut) and they didn’t disappoint! Used a good helping of @oaklanddust Steak Rub and left them in my @pitbossgrills for a total of 2 hours. These ribs were absolute perfection. They had a little bite but pulled right off the bone. I used Honey Hog BQQ by @meatchurch as my rub. I put them in the @pitbossgrills for three hours at 225. After three hours, I wrapped them with honey and butter and turned it up to 250 for an hour.
