Saturday evening was a great way to finish @threads.of.pride ! Great performances and a fun party celebrating LGBTQ art in Wichita.

PLUS, @mickiethebard made my night by asking if I had a Magic School Bus outside!

YOU GUYS!!!!!…..

I sold a piece! Someone saw Agatha and told me she was “obsessed” with her. I am beyond humbled to be able to call something art and have someone else put that value and meaning on it. Seriously a defining moment for me. #artist #embroidery #fiberart #wichita #craftivism #inclusion #pride #proud

Opening tonight! #firstfriday Come by @harvesterarts for the opening of @micdav87 incredible show @threads.of.pride featuring some incredible LGBTQIA+ artists and one kind of mediocre toy artist wearing a strange jacket….meeee. Secretly I am just two smaller men, one sitting on the shoulders of another hiding under a long trench coat.
🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈
I have this piece “After the Fall” which reflects the enduring place queer people have and will have in culture revolution and social progress.
SEE YOU THERE!

I am beyond humbled to see my name listed with this incredible group of artists. I’m not even sure that what I create is considered art over crafts, but I’m excited to participate in this event!
