My thrifting white whale 🍒 As soon as I saw this handmade Talbots cherry cardigan in @thriftlikeagirll ‘s viral reels, I became immediately hyper fixated on getting my own. I HAD to have it! The fact that I could not find it on any of the reselling platforms available, only made my fixation worse. After TWO YEARS of searching I finally found her on @depop !! I just knew that if I was going to find my own it would probably be damaged and it might even be missing it’s brand tag, both of which was the case. She was in pretty ruff shape but, after four hours of repairs and garment shaving, her former glory has been restored. I had to do an unboxing mini vlog to preserve one of my greatest achievements. I know it might seem silly to a non-thrifter, but my people will understand. Do you have something you endlessly look for?
