There are moments when my mind gets louder than everything around me.

The stress. The doubt. The things I don’t always know how to put into words.

Then I get on the bike.

For a little while, it’s just the road, the sound of the engine, and the reminder that I’m still here. Riding doesn’t make every problem disappear, but sometimes it gives me enough space to breathe, reset, and keep going.

That feeling is a huge part of why I created Throttle Before The Bottle. Because sometimes healing doesn’t begin with having all the right words. Sometimes it begins with a ride, someone beside you, and knowing you don’t have to carry everything alone.

Ride. Talk. Heal. 🖤

Stoked to be apart of the Throttle Before The Bottle Original 25 Founding Riders.

TBTB was created around a mission that goes far beyond motorcycles:

Ride. Talk. Heal.

It’s about mental health.
It’s about community.
It’s about reminding people that they don’t have to carry everything alone.

Being part of the Original 25 means helping build that community from the beginning, representing the mission, supporting other riders, and helping TBTB grow into something that can make a real difference.

I’m honored to be part of it.

🏍️ Founding Rider FR007

If you ride, if you’ve struggled, if motorcycles have ever helped you through something — you’re not alone.

Ride. Talk. Heal.

I reached out about becoming a member of this group because I want to be a part of something special and help others in need. I have not personally dealt with alcohol related addictions but have been around loved ones and close friends that have been through difficult times. My personal struggles have been dealing with severe depression and anxiety for many years. I have recently fallen back into a dark place but I am fighting my way back out of it. It may not seem like people are going through tough times but most have become great actors to avoid putting others through what feels like a burden. It is ok to not be ok! It is ok to go through dark times and moments through life! It is ok to take a step back and process what you are going through! What’s not ok, is staying in that place and dealing with it alone! It may feel like a burden on others but it is not. Allow someone the chance to help be there for you before you make a grave decision. Keep fighting, even when you don’t feel like doing it no more! Even if you don’t have a motorcycle the following still stands: Ride•Talk•Heal #ThrottleBeforeTheBottle #FoundingRider #FR012 #TheOriginal25 #WhyIRide RideTalkHeal

I want to build a sanctuary for hurt people like me, for people who know what it means to keep fighting, never giving up, not hiding, and realizing the bike and helmet demand full honesty.

Throttle over bottle.

Life over disappearance.

Movement over surrender.

Brotherhood over isolation.

Presence over numbness.

You can come broke. Sober. Rebuilding. Without pretending.

You cannot come alone.

I want to be a part of sharing my testimony again and again and saving lives. Not as someone above, but as someone who needed community and family and bikers being the only conversation I would have all day. I needed that. I want to provide it too.

Therapy no couch.

Anti-depressants with no psychiatrist.

No chemicals.

I want to help more people make it to tomorrow. And me with them so they aren't alone.

I have been carried. Broken. And Rebuilding. Again and again.

I don't want to be first. I just want to be there. And staying when nothing else remains. Because I know exactly what that's fucking like, in more words than can fit here.

I AM STILL FUCKING HERE RIDING, WALKING, AND BREATHING, WHEN BY ALL ODDS I SHOULD NOT, AND THAT IS MY TESTIMONY.

I’m honored to officially be FR023 of Throttle Before the Bottle Original 25. I am proud to build a motorcycle community that supports its members and stands for the same principles I stand for. We are all here to RIDE. TALK. HEAL. Two wheels down always.

#whyiride Riding on two wheels is my number one escape from the noise, drama and straight up BULLSH!T of everyday life. Being a member of the motorcycle community has been a godsend (though some would argue the opposite). I'm proud to support some local groups doing positive things in the mental health space, but men's mental health just hits way harder for me personally right now, and I'm super stoked to be a #foundingrider FR011 and part of this movement!

I’ve decided to start something that means a little more to me than just another motorcycle page.

🏍️ Throttle Before the Bottle

The idea behind it is simple:

When life gets heavy, find something that helps you keep moving forward before reaching for something that only helps you forget for a little while.

For me, motorcycles have always been more than machines. There’s something about putting on a helmet, getting on the bike, and riding that gives you a chance to clear your head, breathe, and shut out the noise for a while.

But this page isn’t about pretending a motorcycle can fix everything.

It’s about mental health awareness, healthy outlets, having the difficult conversations, checking on your people, and reminding each other that asking for help is strength—not weakness.

You don’t even have to ride.

Whatever your “throttle” is—lifting, running, music, hiking, working on cars, creating something, talking to somebody, or simply getting outside—I want this page to encourage people to find the things that help them keep going.

Ride. Talk. Heal.

If you support the mission, I’d really appreciate it if you went over and followed @ThrottleBeforeTheBottle, shared the page, and helped me build a community where motorcycles and mental health awareness can exist side by side.

You never know who might see a post at exactly the moment they needed it.
