Last week, Seattle made history! 🏆🥟🫶🥹 We are the official Guinness World Records holder of the World’s Largest Dim Sum Meal! 🌎 This day felt like a fever dream. Walking through the streets of CID and seeing so many people come together to celebrate made me so happy. ❤️ The CID is such a vibrant community, full of culture, history, and incredible small businesses. It was so special to see everyone show up, and celebrate the neighborhood together! 🥹 Not only did we beat Australia in the dim sum world record attempt, but June 18 is now officially recognized as Dim Sum Day in Seattle! 🥟🎉 After the dim sum attempt, wendy and i walked around and enjoyed all the vendors. We stopped by and visited @ohanhoi to get his fried banana cookie (a MUST) along with @thuc.cafe to get their jasmine milk tea with cream top 🤤 We even got to say hi to some of our favorite business owners from @ejaepakmor & @kotojellycoffee !! What a wonderful day, until next year’s block party! 🫶 Thank you @jadegardensea for supplying all the meals! 💝 In collaboration with @cidblockparty @cidseattle @winglukemuseum 🏷️ #CIDSummerKickOff #CIDBlockParty2026 #GuinnessWorldRecords #SeattleDimSumRecord #SeattleWorldCupWeek

Finally made it to Thuc Cafe. They were sold out of matcha, but the flan was reason we came. If you’re looking for a serious caffeine kick, Vietnamese coffee rarely misses. Rich, bold, and unapologetically strong. We ordered the banana flan coffee. 🍮🍌 Every layer brought something different, and once everything blended together, the drink opened up with a deeper sweetness and a more balanced finish. The crispy banana topping added texture and reminded me of classic banana chips, the layer of flan was 10/10. A well-executed drink with thoughtful flavors from start to finish. Definitely worth checking out. #creatorsearchinsights #fyp #seattlecoffee #seattlefoodie #matcha
