POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

A year ago, I was in a relationship with someone who didnt want me. I was unemployed, I was having panic attacks everyday while my meds failed, I was in one of the worst flare ups of my life and I didnt have a safe and stable place to call home- I was mostly living out of my car and couch surfing and I was so isolated.

There was nothing I feared more than waking up in the mornings and seeing what my life had amounted to after endless battles to improve it.

If you told me that in a year, all that would change, I would've scoffed. Its true that you get trapped in the mindset and the present struggles and forget to look at progress made and the things that matter past the ages.

I lost a lot this past year. People, pets, places but in that lost I found opportunity to start anew.

My best friends and I have never been closer- Ive never been more surrounded with support and love.

I met the most amazing man and we started a life together and a home- for the first time in my life I had a place where my existence is essential to the fabric of the home, where I feel safe and joyful.

I have two beautiful fur babies.

I have a job. A means to provide for myself.

I haven't had a panic attacks in over six months.

I have access to medical care.

Its been a long fight to survive, and to be honest, its long from over but for the first time it feels like Ive climbed over the peak of the mountain. Ive overcome the largest height, all thats left to do is to have faith and descend to safety.

Maybe life isnt so scary one you're not doing it alone anymore, so happy 22nd birthday to me and here's to better ones to come! 🥂🍻

Couldn't be more blessed in life, bestie from Europe is visiting and move in weekend with my boyfriend has been amazing (arguably it's been a bigger tournament for Magic but we have no regrets!).

Here's the start to a beautiful new chapter!

🔥 POST-EVENT HIGHLIGHTS! 🔥
Finally had a moment to breathe after the madness — and wow… what an unforgettable day.

Our Geeks at Work Mini-Con was a massive success!
We had an incredible turnout, the energy was electric, and the community showed up hard. Attendees had a blast, vendors brought the heat, and the memories we made are going to stick with us for a long time.

We’ll be back soon… and trust us, the next one is going to be even bigger. 👀⚡

Here are some highlight shots of all the chaos, fun, fandom, and geekery from the day.

A huge shoutout to:
✨ All the amazing vendors & artists
✨ @thenexushub for co-hosting this epic event
✨ @redrabbittattoostudio for bringing their magic
✨ @calebjanssens for running our quizzes + being our MC
✨ @plotarmor_sa and Nexus for capturing some iconic photos
✨ @slayerenergydrink for giving us some epic tasters!

Thank you to everyone who pulled in — you made this event something special. 🖤

Still can’t believe this booking happened! What a weekend!
A massive thank you is in order from the legendary @cherch_za crew! Thank you for letting me throw down an opening set on this massive stage! I learnt a lot from this set and will always stick with me on my journey!🙏🏼

The support I have received from the scene has been incredible, whether it’s been solid advice and networking, to just a genuine conversation, it’s helped more than you know, and I can’t wait to grow and show you all how far I can take this🫡

Here’s a quick recap of the weekend🔥
