@derekintheweeds part 3 is some of my favorites! 📸🛵 Story time: when I shoot the homies bikes I always go to them and ask them to pick something in their area where they think their bike would look sick because then they get a unique destination marker in their photos that they can be stoked on (plus a cool backdrop makes for cool photos am I right?) But when I told Derek I was driving up to shoot his bike and asked if he had some good spots (because I know he knows what to look for) he asked what I wanted. Derek happens to be about to retire from the navy and so as much as I wanted to capture his bike and give it a vintage feel, I asked specifically for one backdrop to be nautical themed. Boy did he deliver!! The biggest part for me about shooting other people’s bikes is while I’m there I get to learn things about their every day life that you don’t see at our regular events. And sometimes I even get to share some of that with others. If you’ve read this far thanks, and Derek thank you for all you’ve done for me, you’re a true homie. And @thunder_lloyd thanks for making the trek with me! That was too long of a day for just one man!
