Kicking off the 4th Annual Burl County Fair is @thunderwoodky 🎪

Born in the heart of Kentucky from a shared desire to carry on a musical tradition while giving some of their favorite rock 'n' roll tunes an Appalachian twist, Thunderwood is made up of a few familiar faces and one rising star in the world of pickers.

Joe "Bass" Schlaak holds down the low end with a timeless groove, while Riley Logan lays down driving rhythms and blistering mandolin leads. Ishi Wooten's soaring fiddle and masterful songwriting, along with Thomas Keathley's raucous rolling and raking on the five-string banjo, bring an authentic Southern identity to the band's sound while keeping their perspective fresh. Rounding out the group is Bobby Brantley, whose passion and expertise on the flat-top guitar are truly a sight to behold.

Catch them live at The Burl Outdoors on Saturday, August 22nd! Tickets available at theburlky.com 🎟
