I think gate folds can be tricky to get right … like, they run the risk of looking a bit traditional or maybe a bit ‘fake fancy’ (?) I’m not sure I can articulate what I mean so help me if you have better words lol But the stripes and the colour palette… and the illustration of @thurninghall were soooo perfect here 💖 I loved making these

Ohhhh WHAT A DAY 🤍 The rain kept us on our toes but who doesn’t love a chat about whether it’s going to rain or not!! It was going to be fun and fab either way! Especially with the joy-level of @sammyeverett_ and @joshuua_everett 🙌🏻 Great working with the wonderful @emilyandrewevents and @charlotte_eaevents who held the whole day together. And of course @brownsfilms who had to spend most of the day with me 🤪 Happy memories all!

ADVENT-URE Through Photography Day 8 - The Groom Squad! As as with the bridal party, this is another opportunity to capture the fun that goes with the morning! I find that with the grooms, there is usually that one person who keeps everyone on time, then another who goes against all that and just wants to have a drink and create chaos 😂😂😂 In the nicest possible way of course xx Whatever happens, we want to be there to capture it all, so if I don’t have a second shooter with me, then I make sure I know the details of what is happening when, so that I can plan the timeline around those moments, as the morning is the only part of the day where each partner doesn’t see what’s going on with each other. This photo was taken waaaay ago (can you guess the location?) @hollybacon17 & Rick had their amazing dual ceremony at the beautiful @thurninghall and got ready at their home and a friends house. As they had a marquee, Rok had planned to go to the supermarket on the way to the Hall to grab some bags of ice for the bar! So I had to follow them, with images in my head of what we could do, should I get one of them to climb into the freezer? I didn’t have to, I ran ahead and said to them to cross the road in a line… Abbey Road at the supermarket was born 😂😂🙌🏻🙌🏻 I usually capture the grooms preening each other and adjusting ties and putting on the flowers, etc, but I love this photo so much more as it’s completely unique to them. #weddingphotography #norfolkweddingphotographer #adventcalendar #adventcalendarchallenge #funphotographer #groomsmen #groomsquad #groomsmen #groomsmaids #weddingfun #weddingvibes #weddingpartyideas

B&W or Colour? I love this image in colour but something just hit’s different for me in b&w with this one! That actually is how I pick which images you receive in black and white…. For me it’s all about which shots ‘suit’ black and white more and that has just come from years of intuition and actually more than anything a ‘feeling’ as I edit! However because I know people like to have colour too ALL the b&w images you receive in a galley will also be provided in colour… best of both! BUT you know if it’s in your gallery I’m black and whole that’s because for me that’s a shot that ‘hit differently’ as I edited it!
