Setting the final Sun of the summer at @kumharasibiza this weekend, it's a delight to welcome back another of our fave selectors to wind into the winter, it's Dancing Queen Donna Sami!!!

Donna is an Ibiza based DJ with a sound rooted in deep, minimal house. Her sets are fluid journeys bringing warm groove led selections, deep and rolling!

Cutting her teeth as a vinyl DJ in England in the early 2000s, she brings an old-school sensibility to the decks blending it with her fresh sound and style.

Donna has been in full flow on the white island this summer, carving out her place in Ibiza’s ever evolving music scene, bringing authenticity, precision and a raw passion for the dancefloor.

Donna joins @peacharooo on the decks for the season finale this Sat 26th... with an earlier 1st needle drop time of 1830 and Donna captaining the good ship IVC for the first half of the cosmic cruise.

When we first met Stevie Benanty – the very same Stevie whose name is branded across the doors, menus and signage of her Santa Gertrudis restaurant, @stevieallabottega – we had no idea (to her humble credit) of the rock, roll, disco and foodie heritage she possessed.

Without giving away too many spoilers, let’s just say there’s a dash of Studio 54, just one degree of separation from Frank Sinatra, a connection to iconic NY club Shelter, a slice of Sicily, a hint of Paris and so much more to this second generation Brooklyn girl – who is taking her proverbial 15 minutes by the balls and running with it, just the way her father taught her.

Intrigued? You should be. The story gets even better when Stevie decamps to Europe with her young family, meets the legendary Donna Lennard, opens not one but two island restaurants including the pretty-in-pink @miraloungeibiza… but we’ll stop there. Restaurateur Stevie Benanty didn't initially fall for Ibiza. "To me, it was Las Vegas with sand," she laughs of her first visit, thirteen years ago. What won her over was the quieter island inland – farms, family hikes and the villages that stay lived-in long after peak season.⁠

Summers spent renting with Domus Nova turned into a permanent move, and two restaurants followed: @stevieallabottega in Santa Gertrudis, the rustic-Italian family table she kept gloriously intact, and @miraloungeibiza in San Miguel, its candlelit after-hours counterpart.⁠
