To be loved by a community like this….to be known, empowered, encouraged, and believed in…is something I will continue to stand in awe of. May this always and forever mean more to me, and to those I meet throughout this year of service, than the sash across my chest or the crown on my head.

People have always been at the center of my purpose. They are the heartbeat behind why I chose to compete and the reason I was able to celebrate a Tuesday Montana evening surrounded by some of the most incredible people I know.

Looking around the event, a park full of friends and family, I couldn’t help but stand in disbelief and unexplainable joy at the life the Lord has given me and all He has done to bring me here. The prayer, the people, the unexpected blessings, the doors He has opened, and the countless moments that have made this journey not just sweet, but unbelievable without His timing.

To all who came and were there in spirit, thank you for choosing to celebrate, to learn, and to support. I am so honored to be your daughter, granddaughter, cousin, sister, friend, student, and teammate.

This send-off was a celebration of where I’m going, yes, but more so, it was a celebration of who has gotten me here.

And for that, I will forever say: look what the Lord has done!
