Rooted: Recap Edition 🪴🤎

The night was powerful… but the visuals? Baby…🤏🏾✨

Every graphic, every piece of signage for Rooted was brought to life by my girl Christian Foster 🙏🏾🤎

Thank you, for your gift, your creativity, and your excellence. I gave her the vision, and she brought it to life beyond what I imagined.

If you need graphics done with intention and anointing, get with Christian. Period. ✨🫶🏾

Year in review Part 2. This year would have been nothing good without my people. They were the reason that the highs outshone the lows ✨

From Friday night lights to Sunday praise, this weekend was full of love, laughter, legacy, and a whole lot of God’s goodness.

💫
Highlights:

• 🏈 Friday: Memorial Titans made it 6-0 at Homecoming‼️‼️ Huge win, huge energy. My girl Tia Johnson from KBMT News joined us in the stands and instantly became Auntie Tia 💕🫶🏾. Jayde and her little crew (all under 4 🙃😬) danced their hearts out to the band. Pure joy 🥹🥰

• 🎖️ Saturday Morning: Honored to sing The Star-Spangled Banner at the Museum of the Gulf Coast for the ceremony honoring the late Kate Pate Walker, one of the trailblazing members of the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion (the first and only all-Black, all-female battalion in WWII, now featured in a Netflix film).

• 🍿 Saturday Evening: Playdate + movie night with Jayde and her besties, Jherzee & Jhace (thank you JaKisha for the Gabby ears), for Gabby’s Dollhouse😽💕Laughter, snacks, and one little “tongue prank” Jayde’s still recovering from 😂.

• ⛪️ Sunday: Communion Sunday 🕊️🙏🏾
Mass Choir sang like heaven cracked open, and my mama debuted her new hair (aka “Cookie”) and shut it down 😍😍😍 Ended the weekend celebrating friends being licensed and ordained at New Day Church.

✨ A weekend full of smiles, friendship, legacy, and worship.
From the football field to the altar… God was in it all. ❤️✨🙏🏾

September with 4 Seven Travel looks like…white sands in Antigua, reggae vibes in Jamaica, pasta + wine in Italy, coastal charm in Portugal, and sunshine in the Dominican Republic. 🌴🍷✈️ Where would you go first?
