She’s 1. And all the cliches are true. I feel like she just got here but I also feel like she’s always been here because how was there ever a time without Rose. She’s a thoughtful and cautious observer yet shines in the spotlight. She has big emotions and thrives on everyone’s reactions, I have no idea where she gets it from. She loves to sing and dance the second there’s any music playing and if we start singing one of her favorites she’ll finish the lyrics all on her own. Her favorite thing on earth is FaceTiming her aunties and squealing when they answer. She hates literally all food except Starbucks egg bites, but I’m more than happy to oblige. She’s hyper aware of everyone’s feelings and if someone looks upset she gives them a kiss. Her favorite time of day is 5:30 because it means Dada is home and when she sees him she scream-laughs at the top of her lungs.
When she’s mad and can’t find me she says mmaaaaaaa? MMMMMMA!!!!! And screams until I grab her. Maybe one day that will be annoying, but right now it’s my favorite thing on earth.
She is every picture in my camera reel and every thought in my head.
She’s all the magic I lost along the way.

Happy birthday Rosie baby!!!!!!
