A lil ATL ran dump...

A long weekend outside of it being a holiday weekend (kind of sorta 'cause we don't acknowledge Christopher Columbus!) it was a weekend honoring an 80+ year hair care innovator, @bronnerbros at their 2nd year Icon Awards and the wedding of a very good friend, some one I considered like a son, @joechea.

No hard to pronounce hurricane (Isaias) was going to prevent people from showing up to support in ATL. This just goes to show and reiterate to me that people will show up for what and who they want to show up for. And this reiterates to me that I have to continue to show up for myself and be in places and spaces that keep me aligned on my journey in this industry. I also love when I'm able to bring people along and I am in awe of @tianalewiscoded's passion for this industry and creativity. She was in rooms this weekend that she prayed for, but deserved to be in. Cheers to you, boo.
