Did you know our boutique walls are painted with marigold pigment? 🌼

The entire boutique was designed using sacred geometry to create a sense of harmony. 🪲 Its dimensions are 3 metres high, 3 metres wide and 9 metres long—3 + 3 + 9 = 15, and 1 + 5 brings us back to 6. The sacred numbers 3, 6 and 9 are woven throughout the space. Everything comes back to them. Every detail was created with intention by @studionicholasburns.

The shapes and forms were considered through an understanding of how the body moves through space, that’s why they feel so good. While it’s a tiny shop, all of its proportions work perfectly together. 🌝🌸

The boutique was made with reclaimed teak, with a spiral changing room wrapped in Japanese banana paper. Even our hangers were designed and made by hand. Nothing is simply bought from a store.

It has been 1.5 years since we opened these doors and welcomed so many beautiful women, eager to learn about the plants, connect with what they wear and embrace their femininity. 🌼

At the end of this year, we’ll open our second boutique in Seseh, Canggu. We cannot wait to create another beautiful space for all our women. 🔮 👏🏾

10 years ago almost to the day I started highlining. Has been nice watching slacklining change over that time, from our first lines being short and tight to things getting longer, looser and generally a bit more absurd.

It’s been a couple of years since I’ve really been out there, so I guess this is something of a retirement post. @oldmateoliver and I have been on this journey since the start and it was pretty special having someone to push each other a little higher along the way.

Feeling lucky for the places a piece of 25 mm webbing has taken us and, more than anything, the people I got to share them with. Far too many to name. Highlining was always as much an excuse to spend time with good people in beautiful places as it was about walking the line.

When we were new to it I remember watching the generation before us start to move on and wondering why you’d ever leave something you’d put so much time into. Makes a bit more sense now. Grateful for the people who showed us the way and pretty lucky to have found the community when I did.

There was a simplicity and contentment to those years that I still envy a little, and plenty from them that I’ll carry into whatever comes next.

This tries to sum up some of the moments, of course doesn’t scratch the surface but a nice little window into it.

The fact I’m now essentially scrapbooking probably says enough about the stage of life I’m in. Can’t wait for my next scrapbook, cheers.
