Don’t try to fence me in 🌬🍃 ~ ONCE UPON A TIME, a little girl that wanted to become a painter - and she did. She’s doing it. Since a very young age I wanted to become a painter. Life happened: I became a Psychologist, then a Tattoo artist, until the moment I finally had the resources, the support and the courage to explore more. Different artistic pursuits. Different mediums. With my body. In the outdoors. There I found the freedom I’ve been seeking my whole life. It was always there - within me. ~ 2022 was a mountain to climb at the feet of another to come. A process that started since the first lockdown. Exploring and mixing the movements of my body with paintings on a canvas. All for fun, with a bunch of people believing I should go ahead. This process had its highest moment at my first solo exhibition in Brussels - “I MOSTLY FEEL HOME OUTSIDE” cause I do 😁⛰ and well - it took place in the place I used to climb at that moment and that was so welcoming to me. ~ I’m grateful I dared to paint. And I’m grateful to: . My mom that taught me to paint when a child. And supported me throughout my life. And my father, that pushed me to try other things before, therefore I end up with a large knowledge bag 🤍 . My kid that fill up my days with his carefree and spontaneous childish gaze to the world. And his father that has been always putting his faith on me and broaden my vision 💎 . My partner @peter_brughmans that has been such a lovely challenge and bliss, with all his fierce and talent registering all the special moments while I paint. Experiencing together amazing travels, building all the literal support (frames and canvas) for exhibition and filling up my days with so much love and appreciation 🌬🤍 (pictures in this reel are taken by him 📷) . To @hans_op_de_beeck that gave me the first space to try my dream at his studio during the lockdown and has also put faith on my talent. Thank you for your kindness. To all my friends supporting me, believing on me, loving my crazy ideas and always being there 🤍🤌🏼 you guys are the family I chose. . To the crew of @gazefilms and specially @thurr.mov that helped me to show it to the world🎥
