Amarillo, Texas is well known as one of the most iconic stops on historic Route 66 and these are the top 3 things you’ll want to do when you visit…

1) You’ve gotta take the 72oz steak challenge at @thebigtexan ranch 🥩

It comes with a baked potato, side salad, dinner roll, and shrimp cocktail. If you can finish the entire thing in 1 hour it’s completely FREE! If you don’t finish it you can take home whatever is leftover and you end up paying $72. That’s only $1 per ounce for a really good steak 🤯

2) No Route 66 roadtrip is complete without a pitstop at @officialcadillacranch 🏎️

Here you will find 10 vintage Cadillacs buried in the ground head first at the exact same angle as the Great Pyramid of Giza. It was created in 1974 by an art group called Ant Farm and funded by Texas millionaire Stanley Marsh III. Yes you’re encouraged to spray paint them 🎨

3) Go see an Amarillo @sodpoodles Minor League Baseball game ⚾️
