Today is World Mental Health Day. I have personally come a long way and struggled with my own mental health. And I can’t stress the importance enough of caring for yourself, asking for help, and making your mental health a priority.

This watch community brings me so much happiness. Every moment I spend writing about watches. Talking with @ticktick_taptap about watches. Traveling for watches…it’s all because I derive so much joy from this hobby and even more so from the people who are part of this community.

My very first article I wrote in watches was for @timetidewatches and it was about my own mental health. About my BB58 and how I view it as a mental health milestone watch. I pinned it up in my bio, you can read it if you’d like.

Prioritize yourself. Ask for help. Do the things you love.

I’m tagging a few of the wonderful friends I’ve made because of this hobby. But there’s a fuck ton more than 20.

Welp…we talk about a lot of watches y’all wanted us to talk about in our forthcoming episode…so, it was inevitable that someone would ask us to touch on the new Omega James Bond watches…

When @ticktick_taptap and I went to visit @chriswardlondon ‘s HQ earlier this month, the Sealander Chronograph was one of the handful of new watches we got to check out. Of course, I favored the pink one 🤣 (not a shock). As you likely know, I love chronos, and I think this is a fantastic addition to the Sealander range. It is pretty substantial at 41mm, 13.9mm thicc, and 48mm lug-to-lug. So, it’s definitely for those who want a very tool-forward, can’t miss it, type of chronograph. The Sellita SW510 was great to actuate. Aesthetically I dug the oversized, nearly touching, subdials. These just scream fun to me, especially the colored dials. However, for the more boring people out there, they do have a 🐼 dial. BUT, also an all black dial (with black subdials) that looks lovely as well. What do you all think of the new release?

Episode 35 is out now!!!! We have a lot to say about our different wrist sizes, but we took a trip to @chriswardlondon together recently and we chat about the experience, and comment on a viewpoint that’s pretty toxic/reductive in the watch world. Hope you all enjoy!

Today we recorded Episode 35, and it will drop this Thursday! @ticktick_taptap came up with the idea that I’m calling The Wristy Wrist Swap. The idea is that I have Iman’s wrist and she has mine…and what watches would we buy ourselves with our newfound sizes.

This is the episode that nobody asked for, but that we had so much fun doing.

What watches do you think we each went for?
