Did a little something with @cgtn for CHINAPIANO 🇿🇦🫱🏻‍🫲🏼🇨🇳. This was to highlight the soft diplomatic ties between China & South Africa through Amapiano. Art has a unique way of bringing people together even when they are miles apart. Sharing & teaching about Amapiano has given me a chance to represent 🇿🇦 in more ways than one.

Let curiosity guide your ears.

“Special Guest” is a new event series from BASSKICK—an exploration driven by curiosity.

There are no genre restrictions, just one reason behind every invitation: an artist has caught our attention, and we want you to hear them too. We seek out compelling artists from China and beyond. Their music may sit outside the familiar sounds of club culture, and their names may still be under the radar. But when they take over the dance floor, a familiar space can transform in unexpected ways.

Visuals created for @mushroomsound.hk

Guided by the ideas of “Dream 夢” and “Journey 游”
the work brings together Eastern imagery and Chinese aesthetics within a Mid-Autumn dreamscape.

Big thanks for @mushroomsound.hk and @jingyiiil
