First time running on consecutive weekend days with a solo 5 miles on Friday, 10 miles with @southbrooklynrc on Saturday, and 12 miles yesterday (the @nyrr 4 mile Retro Race in Central Park before running back to Brooklyn). While my legs are sore today, eating yummy food like a kumquat danish from @poppysbrooklyn on Sat and a fresh pepperoni pizza from @cornicione.nyc at Court Street Fair on Sun helped me to keep up the motivation, haha.

From running in Prospect Park over Brooklyn Bridge (first time!), through Times Square and ending in Central Park, 54 of our teammates took on the NYC Half last Sunday. We’re so proud of each and every one of ya! 🥳

Thank you to our friends @baklinerunning for the photos and the race kits. 🙌🏼

November '24 (pre-Japan) - Disassociating with: nature, exercise, carbs, adding one billion wagashi spots to my kyoto google map, lilith snuggles, resident evil 4, my beautiful little echo chamber.

Sorry to run away for a few weeks! (Not really sorry.) A warning I WILL be insufferable on stories!!!

Running w friends > running alone ✨

One year ago after a really tough season at work, I told myself I had to prioritize me. The first step in that was showing up to the corner of President and Carroll for a run with @southbrooklynrc

I had no idea the friendships, joy, and growth joining this very special community would bring me (and it’s only been a year?!!)

tl;dr Running is bliss, I’m so grateful for everyone I’ve been able to share that joy with, and can’t wait for more adventures with @southbrooklynrc ❤️

📸 1st pic is from my first Monday run with SBRC 💕 who knew you could run thru sprinklers on your run?? Not me!!

It’s definitely weeks after the Brooklyn Half, but this after party photo deserves a spot on the grid. Too many stellar people in one space.

Drum roll please, but this year’s half marathon had an SBRC record of 79 (!!!) runners who crushed the Brooklyn Half course. Big love to all who ran and all who cheered. Let’s do it again next year?! 🫶

Nothing short of pure joy watching our friends fly by us at the NYC Half this past Sunday. Congrats to our 50+ runners who tackled a tough course and ran their first to 30th (!!!) half marathon. 🎉

These races are made even more special by the SBRC Cheer Zone, our friends at @brooklynrunningco for hosting, and our expert team of trackers (peep the second to last photo!) who scouted out where our runners would be on course.

If you’re not running you’re cheering, and if you’re running we’re cheering! 💖
