Hawker for a Day. Making tiny cute bowls of orgasmic goodness for the event's participants. Quite the experience! Especially when @daphotographer spills hot soup on my white shirt.

No steaks at the steak place... But really the fried chicken was so crispy and juicy at the same time you can see it flow out of the meat.

The fish was good and the pasta was barely passable... But the fried chicken made it all worth while.

Guess who did we get over for an informal dinner? It's @misstamchiak !! She's exactly as I imagine her to be. Chatty, surrounds herself with positive energy and generally a happy person.

Also Kena suan on the first time meeting her. 🐼

Thanks to @leshane connections to the hawker world that we manage to get to try the latest thing in town. Hawkerman and (or technically should be hawkermen) is an odd collaboration between hawker experts in their own field providing a wealth of choice in menu of its greatest pieces.

The ah boy's popiah had not only a modern twist on the humble wrap... But the chilli used was da Bomba. It was further explored as a dessert with a coconut ice cream wrap with durian jack fruit filling.

Other dishes available like the hokkien mee has variants including lobster etc. But the regular flavors were good enough with a decent portion too.

The carrot cake versions were completely different in a good way, looking like two huge savory pancakes. But the familiarity in taste leaves no room for doubt in this comfort food for many of us.

The tender fresh fried chicken parts were very good and the breast meat was perfectly cooked. It was both moist and tasty.

It was heartening to find that the standards were well maintained in this "fusion" collaboration and this is well worth the try. Special thanks to Ah Boy for providing the desserts to us even though we eventually had to roll out after we are done!

Had a great time at Kazu and was basically stunned at the variety of fresh items like the raw tomatoes and corn which were so sweet, and also the imaginative minds of the chefs on coming up with really interesting items.

Dish after dish that came out was a bit of an adventure for some at the dinner table. From hearts to foie gras, it was really a great meal with great companions.

Special thanks to Kenny that helped us order the entire meal perfectly.

This restaurant has been here forever! And they are always crowded. Reservations advised as they are only open 4 hours a day in the evening.

Ridiculously long queues to have food stir-fried together to taste like the same thing... But boy... Is it satisfying once a while. Don't really need the rice but it's good to use it to soak the oil up.

Annual birthday dinner at the Mouth Restaurant. It might have been a Groupon voucher, but the food was still excellent and value for money.
