Oh wow there are no words. This is a snippet but actually we’ve got a tonne of pics of the holiday as Morocco is sooo photogenic (as were all of our guests of course!). We had such a wonderful enriching week filled with both space and fun; depth and lightness with an inspiring group of creative people. Can’t want for next year - honestly it’s really special here 🌞

Last week I was in Morocco with @thewildtimesco yoga retreat.

I met some wonderful people, practiced yoga every day in various breathtaking locations and ate delicious food.

Jen & Meg held space for us all to completely relax - gently shepherding us from yoga practices to fabulous roof top lunch locations in the heart of Marrakech @izzamarrakech.

We stayed initially @tigmi_marrakech , where the tagines were plentiful, gardens were stunning and pool was idyllic. Big shout out to the lovely staff and chef at this place.
I also had an incredible massage here.

Second location frankly was too much for my eyeballs to compute. With the most breathtaking view of the Atlas Mountains, we stayed in the private retreat part of the hotel, overlooking the Mountains. Jen guided us through some juicy Vinyasa style morning practices and gentle Yin yoga in the afternoons. Jen’s style of teaching is lovely. I enjoyed the poetry she shared and the carefully thought out yoga flows. Jen and Meg (sisters) work beautifully together to create a very low pressure, calm environment.

@kasbahbabourika

@ellisoconnor guided us through some art play, which was a massive highlight of the trip. Ellis is an impressive woman, passionate, talented artist and excellent human being. It was a real pleasure to be in her company.

Finally, let’s talk Hammam. I’m going to be completely honest- this was a very intimate experience… at one point when the lovely therapist was exfoliating my body, I thought I’d lost a nipple (thank god for the numbness breast feeding gifted me). However, after having various mud based items and lotions applied to my body, steamed, rinsed, having my hair washed and being swaddled like an infant, it became what felt like to me, a deeply caring and sacred practice. Recommend. My skin was smooth smooth, like a dolphin after this treatment.

I loved everything about this trip; the vibrant group of people, the place, the yoga, food, belly laughs, crying into my breakfast with new friends, reading books, resting by the pool, being fully immersed in the beauty of the Atlas Mountains. I returned to myself. It was perfect.

A week in Morocco 🇲🇦

We’re heading back to Tigmi in February for a week of yoga, good food, sunshine and a bit of exploring.

Mornings start with yoga, then breakfast on the terrace. The afternoons are yours: swim, book into the hammam, head out and explore, or find a sunny spot and do very little.

We’ll take a trip into Marrakech during the week, and there’s also the option to organise your own outings while you’re there.

Come with a friend or come on your own. We love seeing new friendships blossom over the course of the week 🌷

13th–20th February 2027
From €1,260 per person

The softer September light brings thoughts of cosy evenings curled up by the fire and the quieter pace of winter ahead.

But if you’re still chasing a little sunshine on your skin, there are a few spots left on our upcoming retreats in Morocco 🧡

Tigmi is a tranquil haven in a peaceful Berber village just outside Marrakech, with beautiful gardens, hidden courtyards and a rooftop yoga terrace overlooking the Atlas Mountains.

Spend your days basking by the jade-coloured pool, enjoying a massage or hammam in the spa, or dipping into the colour and energy of nearby Marrakech.

When you go for the yoga and to disconnect from it all, and as a bonus come away utterly inspired by Moroccan design…

Islamic paradise gardens are among the earliest and most influential examples of formal garden design, with their symmetry, geometry, water and sense of enclosure shaping gardens for centuries to follow. And nowhere, for me, are materials, colour and texture used to greater effect than in the Moroccan gardens hidden behind seemingly unassuming limewashed walls.

From soft pink clay walls to vibrant tiles, exotic cacti, flowering plumbago and bougainvillea, intertwined with fig, date palm and pomegranate trees, every sense is awakened.

I’m now desperately considering how I can convince a client to let me incorporate a rammed-earth summer house or pergola into my next design…

Thank you so much to our wonderful yoga teachers @solpower.yoga and @heart_led_yoga for organising the trip of a lifetime, and to the beautiful @tigmi_marrakech on the outskirts of Marrakech for the warmest hospitality and care.

Majestic mountains and the vibrant energy of Marrakech. A retreat that lets you experience both 🧡

There are still a few places available for our September journey through Morocco.

Spend three nights at Kasbah du Toubkal, surrounded by the breathtaking Atlas Mountains, with time for yoga and guided walks through the spectacular landscape.

Then head to Tigmi for four nights in a peaceful Berber village, where you’ll practise yoga on the rooftop terrace, unwind in the hammam, and soak up the colours, culture and atmosphere of nearby Marrakech.

A beautiful blend of adventure, rest and connection.
