Hello 2026, here’s some turbo dance floor energy & wild antics from @grimshawpole & Paul’s insanely cool cat London wedding at @thehoxtonhotel that I photographed! ⚡️💍💥

I worked hard for a solid 12 hours snapping all the action throughout the day, but of course I stayed to party till the early hours because the crowd was such fun & the couple sooooooo lovely! 💖🪩

Top notch sets by the Groom’s band, yes he’s the base guitarist, then the one & only @thee.kc.leigh was spinning the tunes on the decks! 🌟🎸🎧

The dance floor was packed all night with mega shapes being thrown & things got super wild! 🐯 ⚡️

Taking this opportunity to wish you all the most wonderful 2026 & may the year ahead be jam-packed with abundance, love, laughter, fun, epic adventures, great health, happiness & success… woo hoo! 🚀 🏆🍋💛

Many of you will recognise this photo as being from the first day that I met Wookie, and my full-on obsession with him began! (I had previously fallen in love with him from a photo on Facebook!)
When Lady Dinah's opened, they were booked up for months in advance, and so I was incredibly lucky to secure a table on my birthday! 😻 From that very first visit, we knew the place was special. It was a feeling that is hard to describe... a feeling of safety, of security, of friendliness, of peace. ❤️
We rapidly became regular visitors and got to know Lauren and the lovely team who worked there. As a highly introverted, socially awkward and anxious person, there is very little that is more soothing than walking into somewhere and having people greet you by name!❤️ To mention (once!) that table 5 at the top of the stairs is your favourite place to sit, and then be automatically allocated the same table each time you visit makes you feel valued as a customer, but also as a café friend. ❤️ We signed up for VIP membership and got to know other VIP customers in the evenings. Those visits were a real lifesaver to us during a very difficult period in our lives. My brother had been diagnosed with a brain tumour, and when his treatment began to fail, the stress, pressure, and responsibility began to rise. After a day of dealing with hospital visits, caring for him at home, or just the general life admin that comes with a terminal cancer diagnosis, it was truly lovely to just hop on the train to Lady Dinah's and switch all that off for a couple of hours. To enjoy the company of like-minded, cat obsessed people and just relax... We have made some lovely friends from our visits to Lady Dinah's, and more again through Wookie and his Instagram account!😻 Though my love for Wookie grew each time I saw him, I rarely approached him on those visits on account of him looking me up and down on one such approach and promptly walking away!😹 I would have been mortified if anyone had witnessed that, and so from then on, I admired him from afar!😹
When Wookie came up for adoption, I didn't dare hope that I might become his Mama, but applied and hoped for the best! 😻

Today, the mognificent beast that is our WookieBear turns 11 years old!!!🙀🙀🙀 How can this be??🙀🙀🙀 As you can see from his birthday picture, he looks not a day older than when he came home to us over 5 years ago! (He brought the Floofen paw to show that he still has high levels of sass!!)😻😻😻
2nd birthday breakfast has already been served, and the birthday fairy brought him a super mega tub of his favourite Thrive chimkin treats, so we'll be cracking them open later...😻😻😻
As always, we thank Lauren and the team at Lady Dinah's Cat Emporium for entrusting us with caring for this wonderful furry creature! He really is such a joy to be around, and makes every day we spend with him just that little bit better...❤️💓❤️💓❤️

Had an amazing weekend in Manchester seeing @falloutboy

Went up the day before and explored the city centre. Ventured into @satanshollow but I confess I may have had a Power Nap in the club cause I don’t usually do late nights 😅

Then last night Fall Out Boy at AO Arena. My little teenage heart was full, the set was amazing and the stage display and thought gone into the show was incredible. We decided to dress up as it’s Halloween weekend. Theme was brides, I was Bride of Chucky and Tenneil went as Bride of Frankenstein.

And of course all my gratitude to my gig buddy @tigrah for doing all this with me and keeping me hyped up and way outside my comfort zone 😅
