Atikah Karim, after Chanel.

Born and raised in Tanjung Aru, Sabah, Atikah has been modelling since 2013 — across London, Milan, Singapore, New York and beyond. This season, she made her Chanel runway debut in Paris.

We spoke to her about the call that came in the middle of the night, flying to Paris without knowing whether she had the show, returning to runway after four years, meeting Matthieu Blazy, the blisters, the waiting, the bills, and everything people don’t always see behind a moment like this.
