Home inspo: bathroom edition 🛁

The bathroom renovation is finally booked in, starting later this month 🙌🏻.

Now for the fun part… choosing the decor! I’m thinking burgundies, gold, and of course… lots of animal print 🦓.

The second I saw these tiles, I had a vision 🤎

People doubted it… and honestly, I started doubting myself too.

But this is your reminder: trust the vision, be different and go for it. ✨

HONEST KITCHEN UPDATE

Swipe to see 14 months in with 2 x littles. Let’s keep reminding ourselves that slow renovations as a young family are NORMAL due to a multitude of reasons.

Do you like it so far though 😏

#slowrenovation #slowreno #kitchen #kitchenreno #renovations

Gunmetal taps waiting to be plumbed in

Sinks ready to gooooo

Ok this casing around the fridge looks good

Pantry cupboard in progress featuring our only light (random lamp) and a bee house (???) 🐝

Temporary power in our kitchen which has become part of the furniture

Pocket door into utility pending. At least our speaker looks good??

Mini furniture and rough backdrop. Skirting boards to appear soon.

Materials, everywhere

Wires and toys

Radiators waiting to be fitted

Lots to do but so happy with how it’s taking shape

Love you temp kitchen, but it’s time we broke up

When designing our bathroom reno, I knew I wanted a #vintage chest of drawers made into a vanity as the space is small and I wanted to maximise storage. I found the perfect piece of marble to finish it.
I was inspired by our trip to Morocco and chose zellige oyster tiles for the walls and Parisian marble tiles for the floors. The beautiful accent marble tiles for the niche and window are from @claybrookstudio. I adore the alabaster wall lights by @pookylights

Family Bathroom done ✔️🙏🏽😅

We cut our enormous tired bathroom in half and created two. This is the family bathroom finally done! 🏚️

We unbricked a window that had been sealed up (yes, really 👀), added storage, and made it work properly for our family. Our daughter loves it and honestly so do we.
